Yerevan Beer Days

Yerevan Beer Days is a three-day outdoor beer festival held in central Yerevan each July, running daily from 16:00 to 22:30. It brings together Armenian and international breweries alongside food vendors, live bands, and DJ sets, making it one of the more social and accessible evening events in the summer calendar. The festival is designed as an after-work and weekend gathering point rather than an all-day immersive event.

Armenia has a growing craft beer scene, with several Yerevan-based microbreweries developing distinctive offerings alongside the established national brands. Beer Days typically includes representation from across this spectrum — from the large producers most Armenians drink daily to smaller craft operations experimenting with local ingredients including apricot, pomegranate, and highland herbs. International brands also participate, often including producers from Georgia, Russia, and Europe.

Format and atmosphere

Each evening session features multiple brewery stands where visitors can order individual pours or tasting sets. Food vendors run alongside, offering grilled meats, flatbreads, and snacks appropriate to a standing outdoor event. Live music typically runs in two phases — bands in the early evening followed by DJ sets from around 20:00. The atmosphere skews younger and sociable, with the outdoor summer evening format drawing a broad Yerevan crowd. Entry is usually free or at a low gate price, with drinks purchased at stands.

July is peak summer in Yerevan, with daytime temperatures regularly above 35°C. The 16:00 start allows the day heat to ease before the festival fills — arriving at 18:00-19:00 is generally a comfortable time. The festival location in the city centre is reachable on foot from the main hotel districts around Republic Square and Northern Avenue.
